If your patron is interested in expanding the subject to include First
Nations, you could also look for films about Canada's residential schools.

On a pages titled, "A Lost Heritage: Canada's Residential Schools," the
CBC Archives website has a series of clips from news reports (1955-2005).

Library and Archives Canada has a bibliography on the topic which includes
videos and movies.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
