Hi-

Do any of you at academic libraries have sort of "blanket" public
performance policies or some set of criteria that you could share with
me?

Or, does anyone have some information on why such a policy won't work?

=20

I need some rather urgent help in this area. We have lots of requests
on our campus and a blanket policy is desired by some. (Jessica I know
you can give me a good explanation of why that won't work, but I need
some information before a meeting tomorrow.)

=20

As always, thanks in advance.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
