A faculty member is looking for two Italian films in DVD format (I think =
she'd take VHS). Here is what she says...

"The two films I'm currently seeking are:
Profondo rosso, by director Dario Argento (1975); it has been called =
Deep Red in English, but I think most of the DVDs (like the one =
available at Amazon) only have the English audiotrack.

The other is Indagine di un cittadino al di sopra di ogni sospetto, by =
director Elio Petri (1970). It won the Oscar in 1971 for Best Foreign =
Film and is completely fantastic, but not widely available. It was =
translated as Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion, and sometimes =
is available dubbed in English. I've seen it once at a festival with =
English subtitles, but can't seem to find a version on DVD."

Anyone know of current distributors for these films, either in VHS or =
DVD?

------=_NextPart_000_00C4_01C6DB43.A23C4B30-- VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
