Hello,

I have a graduate student who often uses Rewind/DVD Compare
(http://www.dvdcompare.net/) to identify complete versions of films so
he can purchase the most complete version possible for study.

=20

My problem is that he would like to obtain his own copies of mostly
European films, but STRONGLY prefers purchasing them from an American
company or website. Do you have any suggestions of places I can direct
him?

=20

Thanks in advance as always.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
