I've been getting lots of questions re
1. Getting the list in digested form
2. Vacation suspend
Unfortunately, in the new (and not-so-improved) list software
environment, neither are options. If you want to suspend getting
stuff from the list, you need to unsubscribe completely and then
resubscribe (if you wish).
I've been told that there is a possibility that campus will be
adopting Mailman software (the software previously used by videolib
and videonews) sometime in Fall. If that happens, both suspend and
digest features will be available.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
