Dear colleagues,

=20

Thank you all very much for your input. I highly appreciate your help.
Thanks to you all, now I have a strong back up to present my case to the
administration. It seems most of you are comfortable with one week check
out period of audiovisual materials to the faculty. Now I have the
difficult task of convincing our faculty that the whole semester check
out period is way too much. Please wish me luck!

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
