Hi all:

There was some misinformation in my last note re
subscription/unsubscription to videolib and videonews. Garey Mills,
keeper of the listserv flame and font of cyberwisdom, reminds me
that it IS, indeed, possible (altho not convenient) to get both lists
in digested form.

To do so you need to unsubscribe from videolib (or videonews) per my
previous instructions. Then, you need to

Send message to majordormo@lists.berkeley.edu
Leave subject line blank
In body of message type: videolib-digest (or videonews-digest)

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
