Just a reminder that the Educational Media Reviews Online database
continues to grow and may be a useful tool in your collection development
work. Thanks to the generosity of the fine group of participating reviewers
and distributors (many are subscribers to this list), we now have 2300+
reviews in the database. This is really a team effort and is successful
because of so many of you out there.

I've recently updated the web site with the current information on the
number of reviews, use statistics, a link to the most recent reviews, and a
pull-down menu to search for distributors. A new listserv based e-mail
discussion list is also available, EMRO-L, for news, announcements, and
discussion. I encourage you to sign up - go to the EMRO-L page:

Educational Media Reviews Online is a free resource primarily for higher
education librarians, although there are some reviews of K-6 materials.
New reviewers are always welcome, and if you are interested, or have
questions in general about the database, please send me a message off-list.
