Has anyone advice or information on this DiscChek? It checks, but does =
not repair, cd's and dvd's for damage. I have a sales proposal from RTI, =
Research Technology International, dated 1/26/06 which states that the =
device electronically scans discs for damage and data errors. It also =
mentions a CRT display which provides damage location. We are trying to =
verify the existence of damage before we send our discs our for =
cleaning. Any other suggestions for equipment or procedures would be =
welcome. We have had complaints of our dvd's and audiobooks skipping, =
and would like to eliminate the patrons' machines as the cause before we =
send the discs out for repair. If anyone has a recommendation on a =
cleaning system or procedure, we'd be grateful if you passed it along. =
