[Videolib] Developing a collection of children's videos

Greetings. My name is Jimi Jones and I am a graduate student
of the University of Illinois' library science program. I am
working on a project about collection development with
regards to children's videos. I was wondering if anyone here
could help me out by describing what tools you use to help
you choose children's videos (or videos in general) for your
collections. Listservs, vendor catalogs/websites, journals,
books, and so forth would be very helpful. If you have web
addresses for any of these resources that would help as well.

Also, I've noticed some discussion about the idea of
censoring or controlling young patron's access to R-rated
and "inappropriate" video materials within collections.
Could anyone direct me to some websites and/or publications
regarding this topic? I would like to know more about it and
how the Library Bill of Rights is interpreted by various
libraries with regards to this issue.
