Our public library (where I worked for just shy of 10 years...) has a collection of over 20,000 titles and uses Adventure, Cartoons, Comedy, Drama, Fantasy, Foreign, Historical, Horror, Musicals, Romance, Silent, Science Fiction, Western, Very Young (for the pre-school set). I may have forgotten a few, but that is most of them.

This is a question for public libraries:
How do you shelve your feature films? Do you have one long alphabetical
run by title or do you subdivide by genre?
