Also keep in mind, that not having a rating doesn't mean it would have
been an "X" - I've heard library staff voice this misconception all too
frequently.

My library does not purchase X rated films. Not sure its written in stone
though.

We rely heavily on reviews and the good taste of the selector!!

FYI keep in mind most smaller companies like Kino, Milestone , New Yorker
etc that specialize in foreign and documentaries do not have ratings on
their films
