As with most films like this Rhonda you will need a VERY good researcher and
possibly a lawyer to track it down
Cinevista no longer exists and in any case any rights they had would have
long expired and reverted to the
original owners. It is very, very hard to track these things down. If you
really want to try I would start with
the original review in Variety which will generally list the production
company and or producer. In many cases of
older foreign or independent films , they have gone out of business. The
film would remain fully under copyright but
ascertaining who the precise owner is and who grant rights for a US
exhibition is often difficult to impossible.

Every once in a while I hear a nice story where someone does indeed track
down a rights holder ( usually in
Europe) and they actually agree at little or no charge but in most cases it
is very difficult to track the owner and when
you do they either won't grant rights or want an exorbitant fee

I am looking for distributor who has the rights to LA BOCA DEL LOBO by
Francisco J. Lombardi. Worldcat lists CINEVISTA VIDEO but I can't find
anything on them. I checked with Swank and they don't have it. I want to
be able to do a public screening of this film so I need a license. If
anyone knows who distributes this film, let me know.
