[Videolib] three questions: 16mm, staffing, get-togethers

Hi Everyone--I'm posing 3 mostly unrelated questions:
1. First they came for the LPs (some of you may remember my attempts to save our record album collection--results pretty satisfactory) , then they came for the 16mm films. We have a collection of about 200 films, they do get use from our film studies and production program, but finding projectors is a major problem. Who is still collecting, or at least holding on to 16mm? Where do you find projectors? How do you keep the ones you have in repair? Help! I think the same people who wanted the LPs gone are starting up on 16mm.
2. How many of you are one-man shows? I am the nonprint library from soup to nuts. I asked for an assistant and was greeted with incredulity that I felt I needed help.
3. I am thinking of getting together a group of area media librarians for an informal information sharing get-together. I'd appreciate any tips from those of you who have done this--topics for discussion, introductions and ice-breakers, whatever!
Thanks so much--this list is a life-saver!
