We have found the most effective removal of permanent marker is a
combination of non-acetone polish remover and rubbing alcohol. One part
of each should do the trick. Use a lint-free cloth to gently wipe the
disc after allowing it to sit for a few seconds. Repeat as necessary. We
typically use a CD spray cleaner to remove any residual from the polish
remover/alcohol combination.
Hope this helps.
