Well, working at a library whose OCLC symbol is DUD, I've always been a
bit attuned to the unintended meanings possible with these 3 letter
codes. So, today, I found a dandy - you might say the ultimate - OCLC
symbol, and I just couldn't resist sharing it with you all.

The symbol is GOD, belonging to something called "LIMRA INT INFOCENTER".
The name tells me nothing about this institution. Even more delicious
is that the policies directory gives no information about this outfit,
except a Connecticut location.

As a result, we can honestly say the GOD lives in Connecticut, but
otherwise is a Mystery.

Hope everybody not at work today had a good weekend!
