A question for those who have purchased A Day Without a Mexican on dvd...
Our procedure is to inspect all incoming media before adding them to the
collection. We have run into a problem with not one, not two, but THREE
dvd copies of this title. At appx. 25 seconds on the English language
portion of the dvd, it freezes on some of our machines. Our first two
dvds were purchased through one vendor, and we assumed that there may have
been a 'bad batch'. These both looked scuffed and damaged upon arrival.
So we ordered another copy through a different vendor. This dvd looks a
bit better, but still has a strange looking blotchy pattern on it. And,
there is still the playability issue. Has anyone else noticed this in

problem with the closed captions, but this is not what we're experiencing:
