We've been trying to buy 2 copies of videos we know are in short supply =
or out of print and stashing one copy away in "the vault" (someone's =
office) in case the circulating copy gets lost or damaged. We recently =
did this with Eyes on the prize, among others. In a couple instances =
we've contacted rights holders to get permission to transfer to DVD. =
I'll also be curious to see what others are doing about this.
