Two feature films on the Yugoslavian civil war that have not been mentioned
are "Harrison's Flowers" (2000) in which a war correspondent (Adrian Brody)
helps a colleague's wife (Andie McDowell) search for her husband in the war
zone. The search is a descent into chaos, danger, and casual evil.
Another film is "No Man's Land" (2001) about a Bosnian and a Serb, both
armed, trapped in a trench between the armies' lines. I personally did not
care for it so much, but many reviewers did - it got a 91 % rating on
RottenTomatoes.com.
