Dear Videolibbers,

I am just checking our database resources for film literature and I
remembered a former project concerning the Film Literature Index, the
3rd important source besides the FIAF database and Filmindex
International (BFI). This was that information from 2002:

"Indiana University's Digital Library Program, working with the Film and
Television Documentation Center at the State University of New York at
Albany, received a $239,000 grant from the National Endowment for the
Humanities to digitize a film literature index and publish it on the
Web."
http://www.indiana.edu/~libadmin/onlinefilm.html

But now I've found via Google this messsage:

"However, because of editorial and artistic differences, we terminated
our association with IUDLP in May 2004."
http://www.albany.edu/sisp/fatdoc/news.htm

What does that mean? Is there any hope for a Film Literature Index
Online in the near future? We are much interested in using such an
online index. Many thanks in advance for any information about it.

With kind regards
