As for AFRICAN QUEEN. I wasn't kidding about Paramount needing to be convinced they owned. It was an independent production but came to them through their purchase of a library. They have no film prints but a collector with an IB Technicolor print wanted to loan his for a screening at LA Cinematheque and it took A LONG TIME for Paramount legal to figure out they owned it and accept the money for the screening.
