Indiana University/Purdue University at Indianapolis. Professor Crews =

of the nation's leading copyright experts and sought-after speaker at =
state
and national conferences.

Carrie Russell is Copyright Specialist, Office for Information =
Technology
Policy, American Library Association, Washington Office. She is author =
of
the best-selling Complete Copyright (2004).

With fifteen years experience as a practicing librarian, Russell is a
frequent speaker at state, regional, and national library conferences =
about
the intricacies of copyright law. She is also the author of numerous
articles on copyright and information policy that have appeared in such
journals as Library Trends, Library Issues, Public Libraries, and =
Library
Journal, and pens a popular monthly column "Carrie on =A9" in School =
Library
Journal.

Edward J. Valauskas is the Follett Chair at the Graduate School of =
Library
and Information Science at Dominican University in River Forest, Ill. =
He
teaches classes on the history of the book, information policy, the
Internet, and scholarly communication. Edward is also Senior Editor of =

Monday, an Internet-only journal about the Internet, published since =
1996.

University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) 1990-96. From 1985-89, Mr. =
Berry
served as Executive Director of the Library Administration and =
Management
Association (LAMA), a division of the American Library Association. A =
widely
published author and frequent lecturer, his areas of research interest
include digital libraries, intellectual property, distance learning, =
library
building design and fundraising for libraries. Mr. Berry served as =
ALA's
118th President in 2001-02.
