[Videolib] Television series in public libraries

I have heavily purchased TV series on DVD in a (somewhat vain) attempt
to have *something* on our shelves for the public to browse and check
out. HBO, BBC, Showtime, plus some classic and/or critically acclaimed
free TV.

Circulation and theft are such in this busy urban library that even with
a very healthy budget it looks to the average patron like we own 10
DVDs. TV is a slightly less appealing target for thieves and less likely
to be on reserve than individual feature films.
