I think this is an extreme long shot that a video exists, but here goes:

I have a theatre prof who is looking for a video of a stage production
of the broadway play "Will Roger's Follies" - there was apparently a
broadcast on Japanese TV at some unknown time.

Anybody know of a vendor that deals with plays-on-video?

(I'm finding that videos of Will Rogers movies are difficult to find,
nevermind a video of a play about him.)=20
