In defense of acquisitions folks (the ones who create the wretched POs), we
often do not have a choice in the matter. If we download a record from OCLC,
our computer system is going to pull the title from a certain tag regardless
of what we want it to say. The same with MARC records from a
vendor--whatever is in that specific tag will show up as the title. Believe
me, it is not easy to receive or invoice by those foreign language titles
either! (Especially periodicals but that is another story...)
