Videofolks--This question is on topic only because it concerns "media" but I hope you won't mind. I think this is the best place to post this request. I have a client library that would like to build a core collection of classical CDs. What we need is a "best of breed" list or review source that could be used to as a beginning shopping list. Is there such a thing and where would I find it? These need to be fairly mainstream titles/performances, readily available from vendors. Any help would be appreciated. You classical music fans could even suggest specific CDs as long as you can give me the production company and/or other specific info so they can be ordered from a vendor.

Unless someone else is interested in this, we can keep responses off-list to keep the clutter down.

Thanks in advance.
