I am guessing it is the new players. I have a hard time playing stripped DVDs in my Dell Latitude (2 yrs. old) laptop, when they play fine in other regular players. I wonder if more of your patrons are using their laptops as DVD players? It seems like the more high end a player is the more problems we have with playback. But in answer to your question, the answer is yes, some but not a lot, maybe 2 or 3 a month.
