Hello all:

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to ask my question, but I
think the people who would know are on this list...

I'd like to know how to obtain permission to use selected musical works for
a dance performance. I don't know what pieces are being considered, but I
am wondering if the first place to contact would be ASCAP? Or would the
Copyright Clearance Center be able to handle this type of inquiry? The
performance is in two months.

Any/all suggestions are appreciated.

Many thanks,
