Jacknife

Delayed stress syndrome among Vietnam veterans is explored in this heartfelt drama starring Robert De Niro, Kathy Baker and Ed Harris. Based on the play Strange Snow by Stephen Metcalfe. DeNiro and Harris were best buddies until one fateful mission. Now the emotionally crippled Harris doesn't want his war buddy hanging around with his lonely schoolteacher sister. The performances are top notch.
