I've been asked to serve on a task force to look at video lending policies
here at Penn State. In particular, this group will be looking at the
amount of time that a film/video is in the hands of the borrower. We're
trying to come up with guidelines for all Penn State locations. With both
a main collection and smaller collections, lending periods currently vary.
I would be interested in hearing what others use for lending periods for
the following:
Interlibrary Loan
Rentals (if applicable)
Student
Faculty
Staff
Course Reserve
Please e-mail me directly at rjc@psulias.psu.edu so as not to clog up the
listserve. I'd be happy to share results with anyone else that's interested.
Thanks.
