Well there whole books on the subject
Among my favorites
are BROKEN BLOSSOMS, THE HATCHET MAN, MASK OF FU MANCHU, IN OLD SAN
FRANCISCO, SHANGHEI GESTURE, BULLDOG DRUMMOND STRIKES BACK etc. Alas many of
these are not on video but there are a lot that are.
There are just hundreds of titles in just the twenties & thirties
Suggest he narrow it down a bit. Also if you are looking for clips
you have a BIG problem , most anything after 1923 will by under copyright to
studios and cost thousands per minute to clear.
