Becky,
I have purchased their audio books on cassette on subjects I know would
be popular at our library - Russian history, great authors, Shakespeare,
religion and other history titles. These are popular subjects in our
library and it is often hard

I decided not to purchase their video series due to the lecture format.
I do not think they would be popular with our audience who would be
expecting a "Ken Burns" production.

I hope this helps you.

Has anyone added titles from the Great Courses / The Teaching Company
to
their collection? They appear to be comprehensive, and would extend
our
curriculum support level beyond high school. I was wondering how good
they
are and if any public libraries have added them, or if they are really
better for college/university collections. Thanks in advance.
