[Videolib] looking for a title

Hello all,
I'm looking for the title of a film that was probably released in the 50's or thereabouts. The only information I have is that it is the story of a youngish boy whose parents die and he has to find new homes for all of his brothers and sisters. Apparently the ending sequence is him walking in the snow by himself pulling his sled behind.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
