We now interfile our videos and DVDs.
No problems and the patrons seems to like it!

Right now we keep the videos and DVDs filed separately because the DVDs
are still a tiny percentage of the collection, but I could see
interfiling in the future.

We do interfile audiobooks on cassette and CDs. We have Cataloging
include "compact disc" as a note in the catalog record so patrons can
limit a search to CDs. (Same for DVDs)
