As Gary mentioned, the "hobbyist" databases like AllMovie and IMDB are
probably not the best for serious researchers....but I just wanted to put in
a plug for another "free" resource that I find useful, the Cinebooks Movie
Database, which is available on the TV Guide website. It doesn't include
article citations & other references, but it's a good resource if you just
need a filmography, basic review, or credits info.
