Question: I work with a 501(c)(3) non-profit language school. We would
like to show foreign films for our students and the general public and
want to secure permission. Unfortunately, Motion Picture Licensing
Corporation and Movie Licensing USA/Swank, the entities that provide
licensing for this type of film showing do not cover foreign studios such
as Filmsonor, Janus, and Studio Canal, which own the rights to the films
we're interested in. Do you know where we might turn? I've tried the
studio websites, but they aren't much help. Thank you.
Thanks for any tips I can pass along to this person . . .
