Um funny you should mention that quote
One day in 10th grade I was walking up some stairs at school when someone
made an off had remark about "people" and with out batting an eye lash or
thinking of what I was saying I responded
"People, I ain't people , I am shimmering glowering star in the
cinema firmament, says so right there" ( which I am pretty sure is the line)

My friends looked at me like I was crazy
This was the very moment I KNEW I was nuts about movies and probably just
plain nuts
