An informal discussion of issues raised for vendors and buyers by new
distribution technologies will be held at this year's National Media
Market in Las Vegas 9/21-25. The meeting will take place in California
Newsreel's screening room, Room 1615, starting at 6:30 PM Sunday,
September 21st. Subjects considered will include transmission of
programs to distance learning sites, multi-campus use of cassettes,
encoded and un-encoded cablecasts, the use of programs or excerpts in
internet courses and virtual textbooks, etc. This market offers a unique
chance for us to share experiences and discuss strategies. For more
