John's question about the Marx Brothers and WC leads me to think about a
related question:
Has anyone read anything about why the classic Laurel and Hardy shorts and
features have never been released on DVD in the U.S.? You can get great
stuff (even boxed sets) from the UK in region 2 format, but I find it
puzzling that these great comedies are not available here....
