A number of librarians request key words from me for documentaries, which
can often help utilization numbers for documentaries that are not circulated
as often as feature films. Patrons often want to see documentaries that tell
the story behind the scenes. Here are four new behind-the-scenes' docs that
are currently making headlines:
- With Peter O'Toole to be honored by the Academy there is certain to be
renewed interest in "Laurence of Arabia" - so see: "In Search of Lawrence
(of Arabia)": http://www.chiptaylor.com/ttlmnp3524-.html
- Michael Caine is starring in the new feature, "The Quiet American," see:
"Graham Greene: 'The Quiet American'"

- Kenneth Brannagh stars in the miniseries on "Sir Ernest Shackleton," see
two:
"Antarctica: Journey to the Ice" http://www.chiptaylor.com/ttlmnp3526-.html
and "The Life and Work of Frank Hurley"

- Andrew Wyeth appears in a new doc on his talented great nephew, see: "A
Wyeth Hurd Original: Peter de La Fuente"

Also note, all programs from Chip Taylor are now availabe on DVD and Video.

We keep an extensive list of key words and I'll be happy to forward those
and title links to anyone who is interested in this effective procedure.
