DVD's and CDs

If DVD's are being damaged by rattling around loosely in their own =
packaging, the solution is to change the packaging. While our system =
doesn't collect DVDs, my branch librarians tell me that CD's are less =
apt to be damaged if they're placed in clear plastic envelopes within =
the container. This also keeps the discs from getting scratched if the =
container comes open in a bookdrop.Is it possible to place the DVD in a =
plastic or paper envelope and still get the case closed?
