Greetings, Videolibbers,

We have a collection of assorted films (chiefly 16 mm) that was donated by a
now-retired faculty member. No one is clear how he obtained this collection
but I would guess it was through a variety of sources over his years of
teaching film. Would it be legal to catalog these and add them to our
collection if use was restricted to face-to-face teaching situations?

Thanks in advance for opinions,
