A correction - HISTOIRE DU CINEMA has come out on video, but only in France.
It is available as a 4 volume video set, in French with NO subtitles, in
PAL. You can order it from Facets.

It is also unlikely that this will ever see the light in a US version,
because of the enormous problem of clearing the rights to all of the clips
that Godard used.
