Hello all,
I am trying to get as many of the items of the National Film Registry for my library's collection. Somethings have been quite easy and others not. Three things I'd love to get are What's Opera Doc, Duck Amuck, and Porky in Wackyland. The first two are available on a compliation movie made by Warners(Bugs Bunny and Roadrunner Movie I believe) the third I haven't been able to find. My question is, does any one out there have any idea why Warner Brothers, a studio that jumped into DVD's with both feet, has not released their Looney Tunes cartoons on DVD? I think the rights should all be theirs by now, and I would think this is a no brainer as far as a money maker. So if anyone has a reason why, I'd love to hear it. Thanks all.
