I asked Gavin Hood about the fate of his film, and the story is this: the
production company, Pandora Films, was bought by some music conglomerate
called Gaylord Films which went into producing bug budget features, and put
A REASONABLE MAN on the shelf, never releasing it. Hood said that when he
visited their office NO ONE in the company had even seen the film. But when
they had an offer from an independent American company to release it to
video and DVD, they declined, because the $80,000 offer was not good enough,
and they felt they should get at least $250,000. The result is that the film
is still sitting on the shelf.

However, Gavin said that he would be happy to make a copy for you.
