Hi all, I just wanted to pass this information along to anyone using Pioneer DVD-R drives. It seems some of the new high speed DVD-R disks can potentially damage your drive by causing it to overheat. The problem is caused by a bug in the firmware and there is a patch available on Pioneers web page. You can find more information on drives affected and how to download the firmware upgrade at the following web site. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/hs/
