We are writing to inform you that DocuSeek, the search site for independent
documentary, social issue, and educational videos has now been updated and
new features and many new films and videos have been added.
Located at www.DocuSeek.com you can now use one site to search
simultaneously the combined collections of seven leading distributors:
Bullfrog Films, Direct Cinema Limited, Fanlight Productions, First
Run/Icarus Films, Frameline, New Day Films and Women Make Movies. All
together over 2550 titles are now included in the DocuSeek database.
A new search engine is now being used internally, and the results of your
searches may now be displayed ranked by relevance or score, by release
date, length, or title (as before).
The Subject and Regional listings have been refined, and the ways in which
the search option are defined and related have been adjusted.
The Help pages have been improved.
And more links to useful resources have been added.
Lastly, we have added a short Feedback form, and would urge you to please
fill out and submit your comments on using our site so that we may take
your experiences into account and implement further improvements.
We want DocuSeek to be a dynamic resource for the community of
nontheatrical film and video users, and we hope you will participate by
trying out and sending us your thoughts on our revised web site.
