The cloth library book tape is what we have used for years. Black on the back, white on the front. Seems to work well.

Subject: classroom projection screen repairs

Hello all,
I have had several larger screens in classrooms develop tears in the fabric edge
where the bottom is joined to the pull-out bar. Has anyone else run into this
problem, and what materials did you use to repair it? I am considering library
cloth repair tape (with self-adhesive) as duct tape does not last.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
Val
