Hello all,
I wanted to post a quick reminder about the VRT program in Atlanta at ALA
Annual, and send out a second call for volunteers to staff the VRT
information booth. The sign-up for the booth is at
<http://www.library.uiuc.edu/ugl/media/_vrt/signup.asp>. Roughly half of
the timeslots are still available, so as you plan your conference schedule
please consider helping us out.
The brief program description is as follows:

Title: Media Space: Facilities for the 21st Century

Date: Sunday, June 16th, 1:30-3:30

Description: Need some ideas to revitalize your library media center? The
media center environment is constantly changing, and physical media center
facilities have often not kept pace with the times, particularly in light
of the evolution of digital formats. Join us for tips from librarians and
an architect who have experience updating and redesigning media center
facilities to better meet the needs of current and future patrons and
technologies.
