The annual Chicago Children's Film Festival takes place at Facett's every
October. It is the greatest. I've been twice and seen a wide variety of
children's films from around the world. (not Disney) They include amazing
animated (short and long) and other short films (docs and fiction), works for
children and by children with recommendations for age appropriateness. They
list all the distributors in the festival catalogue. I would suggest
contacting and speaking with the folks at the festival office, which is
located at Facett's. They are helpful and friendly.
